Project Description: 500 KTA Styrene Feedstock Preparation Unit (150 KTA Ethylene Unit)
This project marks the first application of Wison’s proprietary ethylene technology in a newly built ethylene unit. It adopts Wison’s HS-II proprietary cracking furnace technology and a short-process separation scheme featuring pre-ethane hydrogenation, no ethylene rectification, and no C₃ separation. Compared with conventional ethylene processes, the investment is reduced by more than 20%, with a shorter process flow, lower capital and energy consumption, reduced emissions, and lower operating costs. The project achieved on-spec ethylene product at the first feed, ensuring stable feedstock supply for the downstream styrene unit. It successfully realized the seamless integration of Wison’s ethylene technology with the styrene and existing units, significantly enhancing the overall economic efficiency of the enterprise.
