Project Description:
The Panjin Sanli Zhongke New Materials Co., Ltd. project is a 100 KTA new materials production facility that uses natural gas, ethylene, methanol, and oxygen (supplied by an air separation unit) as feedstocks to produce 50 KTA n-propanol and 50 KTA MMA annually. The production units include a gasification unit, syngas purification unit, acrolein unit, n-propanol unit, formaldehyde unit, and MMA unit. Auxiliary facilities cover liquid storage and handling systems, as well as flare systems. Utilities include the air separation unit, compressed air station, and cooling water system. The 5 KTA MMA/year ethylene-based unit successfully achieved first-run start-up in February 2025 and has been operating stably. The MMA products have high purity (>99.9 wt%) and low impurity levels (e.g., moisture <100 ppmw). The product specifications exceed the premium grade requirements of the Chinese national standard HG/T 2305-2017 and also surpass stricter industry standards.
