Step Into Wison, Embrace the World — The 3rd Wison Engineering International Student Open Day
Following the resounding success of the first two editions of the International Student Open Day, Wison Engineering has once again joined hands with East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) to hold the 3rd Wison Engineering International Student Open Day. This event serves as a vital practice platform for ECUST to encourage international students to gain in-depth insights into outstanding Chinese enterprises and witness the advancement of China’s industrial sector. Meanwhile, it constitutes a pivotal initiative for Wison Engineering to deepen university-enterprise strategic cooperation, build a talent pool of international young professionals, and implement international talent cultivation programs.
On July 23rd, led by Tang Chun, Director of the Chinese Language Center, and Wang Yangliang, Admissions Officer for International Cooperation Programs of ECUST, over 100 international undergraduates and postgraduates with strong academic backgrounds from Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, France, Vietnam and other countries visited the Wison Center. The students showed immense interest in the company’s core achievements in oil and gas and new energy businesses, as well as its global operational footprint.
During the thematic sharing and discussion session, Wison Team delivered a presentation covering Wison’s overall corporate layout and the development roadmap of its international engineering business. The international students listened attentively and engaged in active interactions, fully acknowledging Wison Engineering’s global operational accomplishments and comprehensive industrial strengths.
Throughout the event, international students toured the corporate exhibition hall and a watercolor art exhibition at the Wison Art Center, gaining first-hand experience of the company’s cultural heritage, working environment and international development journey. Many students took the initiative to enquire about internship and career opportunities on-site, expressing a strong aspiration to join the company and apply their academic knowledge in practice. The whole event unfolded in a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
The event received full support from Wison’s management and business departments. Afterward, university leaders and teachers delivered high praise for Wison Engineering’s industrial prowess and global development landscape. The two parties reached a consensus to sustain long-term, in-depth collaboration in the future, build a career development platform for global young talents, cultivate interdisciplinary overseas professionals, and inject enduring momentum into the high-quality growth of the company’s global businesses.
