Wison ESG | “Giving with Love, Caring for Children” Charity Donation Drive Concludes Successfully, Delivering Warmth Across Thousands of Miles to Henan
A second-hand children's book can ignite a rural child's dream of reading; a pre-loved toy can brighten the childhood of a child in need. Since the launch of the charity donation campaign under the Wison ESG public welfare series, colleagues in Shanghai and Beijing have actively responded by bringing gently used children's toys, picture books, and other books to designated collection points. In addition, the company purchased a batch of children's supplies to add to the donations. All donated items have now been organized by the Shanghai Baby Home Care Center for Children in Need and transported to Henan Province, where they have been placed into the hands of the local children who need them most.

In Xishao Township, Nanle County, Puyang, local children often stop reading because they have no interesting books—parents are willing to buy books but lack guidance on what to choose. In Yansinzhuang Village, Doumen Township, Yuanyang County, Xinxiang, a rural library has become a "second classroom" for left-behind children on weekends, but picture books suitable for young children are far from sufficient to meet their needs. These are exactly the simple yet urgent scenarios that this donation drive aimed to address.

In this campaign, the items donated by colleagues included a wealth of picture books, children's readers, educational toys, and more suitable for young children and teenagers. Among all these items, what touched us most was a handwritten card quietly slipped in by a colleague, with neat handwriting that read: "Hope these books help you see a bigger world." No flowery language, no elaborate embellishments—yet this brief message, like a ray of light, illuminated the children's path toward knowledge. After the donation event, a colleague from the Shanghai office said: "My child's toys and picture books are updated so quickly. It makes much more sense to pass these still-usable items to children who truly need them than to leave them sitting idle at home." Another colleague from the Beijing office, while donating several science-themed picture books, expressed the hope of planting a small seed of science in the minds of children in remote Henan. Behind every item lies care and goodwill that transcends geographical distance.

We often say that public welfare is not about one person doing a great deal, but about many people doing a little. In this charity donation drive, the active participation of numerous colleagues from both Shanghai and Beijing has made it possible for countless small acts of kindness to come together and make a meaningful difference. The company prepared commemorative gifts for every participating colleague, yet these small tokens cannot measure the love and warmth everyone has conveyed.

A book, a toy—carrying heartfelt blessings across thousands of miles; a kind act, a gesture—bringing warmth to children in need. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every Wisoner for sustaining this chain of kindness. Looking ahead, Wison Engineering will continue to advance the Wison ESG public welfare series, exploring broader and more meaningful forms of social engagement, embedding ESG principles into every concrete action, and upholding our corporate mission to bring sunshine and hope to disadvantaged children and more communities in need.
