Axens and Wison Engineering Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Advance e-SAF Project Development
On September 7, Wison Engineering and Axens signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore collaboration opportunities on selected e-SAF projects (Sustainable Aviation Fuel, based on Fischer-Tropsch pathway). Through this framework, the two companies will jointly assess practical execution approaches that combine Axens' process technology expertise and Wison Engineering's capabilities in standardization, modularization, global supply-chain integration and international project execution. The objective is to develop e-SAF solutions designed for greater cost and schedule predictability, rapid deployment and efficient replication across global markets.
A delegation from Axens, headed by Frédéric Balligand, Vice President; Stéphane Wermester, Vice President Commercial (Asia); and Jean-Christophe Dolignier, General Manager of Axens China, attended the signing ceremony and visited Wison for exchanges. Zhou Hongliang, CEO of Wison Engineering; Liu Hengwei, CTO; Li Yongbin, Chief Engineer; Lv Jianning, Vice President; Zheng Weike, Vice President, and representatives from relevant departments attended the ceremony and meeting.
This collaboration aims to support selected e-SAF project developers with the implementation of strategies that improve cost predictability and control, streamline early project development processes and timelines, enhance schedule certainty, address key barriers to bankability and support greater readiness for final investment decision (FID) and commercial deployment.
