Following the resounding success of the first International Open Day, Wison Engineering and East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) jointly organized "Innovation Leads Green Future" – The 2nd Wison Engineering International Open Day. This event not only serves as a key initiative by ECUST to introduce international students to Chinese enterprises but also represents another step by Wison Engineering’s Human Resources Department in strengthening university-industry collaboration and identifying global talent.
On July 22, led by Director Zhou Haibo from the College of International Education of ECUST, 32 international students from 19 countries visited the Wison Center for an exchange and tour. The participating students were primarily master’s and Ph.D. candidates with diverse nationalities and strong academic backgrounds, many specializing in chemical technology innovation, new energy, and advanced materials research. As such, they showed keen interest in Wison’s achievements and global expansion in petrochemicals and renewable energy.
During the thematic sharing and discussion session, Mr. Zhang Xiaotao, Deputy General Manager of Wison Engineering’s Marketing Department, delivered a detailed presentation on the company’s overall business development and international market expansion strategies. Students expressed admiration and appreciation for Wison’s global achievements. Regarding their inquiries about future business plans and new market strategies, Mr. Zhang provided comprehensive and enthusiastic responses. In the area of new energy and advanced technologies, Mr. Wang Ding, New Technology Development Manager from Wison Engineering’s Product Technology Center offered an in-depth overview, resonating strongly with many students whose research aligned closely with these fields. Their active participation further deepened their understanding and endorsement of Wison’s business. The event concluded on a positive and engaging note.
The event received strong support from Wison Engineering’s management team and business departments. Afterward, the university leaders and teachers expressed high recognition of Wison’s business and development, as well as their intent for long-term, in-depth collaboration. They look forward to working with Wison to build an international career development platform for international young students, and help the company to navigate and excel in global competition.
