From July 26 to 28, 2025, the World AI Conference & High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance (WAIC 2025), a highly anticipated event in the global artificial intelligence field, was held in Shanghai. With the theme of “Global Solidarity in the AI Era”, the conference brought together experts, government and business representatives, university scholars, and investors from around the world to discuss the new opportunities and challenges AI technology brings.

Wison Engineering CTO, Liu Hengwei, was invited to attend this prestigious event and shared his insights at the “AI for Good Theme Forum” organized by Dalberg. The forum brought together experts and industry leaders from renowned institutions such as the United Nations, the Asian Development Bank, the Zhongguancun Institute of Artificial Intelligence, the Global Energy Interconnection Cooperation Organization, and Tencent, to explore how artificial intelligence can help address the urgent development challenges facing the world. The forum showcased practical application cases of scalable cross-border AI solutions across various fields, including improving health and education, promoting financial inclusion, and enhancing climate resilience.

As a representative of the energy industry, Liu Hengwei focused on three key areas to explore the integration of AI and green transformation and their importance for future development: AI and green transformation will reshape the future development landscape; AI and green transformation urgently require a systematic talent retraining strategy; AI and green transformation must be fair, inclusive, and sustainable. He emphasized that AI and green transformation are not parallel lines but converging forces. They are reshaping our development models. We are responsible for guiding this future with a sense of mission, fairness, and urgency, ensuring that every technological leap forward brings genuine benefits to human society.

The insights shared at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference not only reflect Wison Engineering's deep commitment to the concept of “technology for good” but also highlight the company's strategic determination to deeply integrate technological innovation with ESG principles. As a pioneer in the energy engineering sector, Wison Engineering is actively promoting the synergistic advancement of artificial intelligence and green development through concrete actions, contributing to the industry's sustainable development through technological innovation, and actively fulfilling its social responsibility in achieving the “dual carbon” goals.
