Industry Design Award: Hydrogen-Ammonia Project Wins Honor and Gains Recognition from Industry Authorities
In the selection of "2025 Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Projects" organized by the China Petroleum & Chemical Engineering Survey And Design Association, the nylon chemical industry supporting hydrogen-ammonia project (400,000 tons/year liquid ammonia and 50,000 Nm³/h hydrogen) of Henan Shenma Nylon Chemical Co., Ltd., designed by Wison Engineering, won the Second Prize of Excellent Design Project in Chemical Engineering.
The project uses coal as raw material and adopts the coal-water slurry pressurized gasification process to produce crude syngas. After undergoing shift conversion, heat recovery, and purification via low-temperature methanol washing, refined syngas is obtained – part of which is converted into liquid ammonia through ammonia synthesis, while the other part is used to produce hydrogen via PSA hydrogen extraction. On November 29, 2023, the plant achieved commissioning and smoothly produced qualified products, which not only verified the reliability of the technical scheme but also provided key support for the upstream extension of the nylon chemical industry chain.

In the selection of "2025 Henan Provincial Excellent Engineering Consulting Achievements" organized by the Henan Engineering Consulting Association, Wison Engineering performed outstandingly, winning 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, and 1 third prize. Among them, the "Feasibility Study Report on the New Material Integration Project (Phase II) of Wanrong New Materials (Fujian) Co., Ltd." and the "Feasibility Study Report on Datang Duolun 150,000 kW Wind-Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Demonstration Project (Hydrogen Production Part)" won the first prize.
"Feasibility Study Report on the New Material Integration Project (Phase II) of Wanrong New Materials (Fujian) Co., Ltd.": The technical demonstration for the 7 sets of core production devices is rigorous and sufficient. The process technology determined after multiple rounds of comparison and selection has reached the industry-leading level in key indicators such as product yield, energy consumption control, and continuous operation stability. The project is equipped with complete environmental protection facilities, implements the concept of clean production, has accurate and reasonable investment estimation and objective and practical economic analysis, providing a solid basis for the project's implementation. Moreover, relying on the resource advantages of the park to build an efficient production system, it has extremely high demonstration value in promoting the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure and leading the development of the circular economy.
"Feasibility Study Report on Datang Duolun 150,000 kW Wind-Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Demonstration Project (Hydrogen Production Part)": Wison Engineering innovatively applied the independently developed intelligent simulation planning system to accurately calculate the hydrogen production scale, scientifically configure relevant units, and overcome the design of high-difficulty power supply schemes. In terms of the configuration of core electrolyzers, the combination mode of "12 units of 1000Nm³/h + 1 unit of 2000Nm³/h" is adopted, which not only ensures operational stability but also realizes the exploration of large-scale technology. The project has now completed construction and entered the commissioning phase. It not only provides important empirical support for the formulation of the national Measures for the Administration of Green Hydrogen Coupling with Traditional Industries but also sets an innovative benchmark for the green and low-carbon transformation of the coal chemical industry.
