On November 14, 2021, Wison Engineering (China) Co., Ltd. (stock code: 2236.HK) held a shipping ceremony for the overall module project of a fine chemical plant in the Middle East, which falls under their EPC total contract. The event took place in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou City, and the modules are expected to arrive at a Middle Eastern port by the end of December.
This project signals the company’s first-ever Chinese-manufactured, Middle Eastern-delivered process module project. Comprising three modules, the largest one measures 64 meters in length, 19 meters in width, 36 meters in height, and weighs 2573 tons. Through this endeavor, the project aims to showcase the leading technology and advanced productivity of China's fine chemical industry, thus enhancing the country's international competitiveness in the global chemical industry.
Winning this project was made possible by Wison Engineering's extensive project execution experience and successful track record in modular project delivery in the Middle East market. Since the commencement of construction on March 15, 2021, the project team has managed to overcome various challenges, including the impact of the pandemic and adverse weather conditions. This dedication has resulted in the realization of zero safety accidents, controlled construction quality, and an impressive 99% first-pass weld acceptance rate, earning high praise from the project owner.
This accomplishment underscores the company’s project team's capabilities in crafting large and complex process modules, underscoring China's significant expertise as a manufacturing powerhouse and setting a new benchmark for both Chinese manufacturing and global modular construction.
