"Prevention First: Prevent Fires Before They Start"——Wison Center Conducts 2024 Emergency Evacuation Drill
2024-11-20

Life is paramount, and ensuring fire safety is essential. To evaluate the effectiveness of emergency response management at Wison Center and safeguard the life, health, and safety of all employees and personnel, Wison Center organized an emergency evacuation drill on November 14, 2024. This drill involved participation from Wison Group, Wison Engineering, Wison New Energies, and all tenants.

In the first week of November, the President's Office, QHSE Department, and property management company completed the preparations for the emergency drill. The QHSE Department organized fire safety training for all volunteer firefighters, covering essential topics such as fire safety guidelines, basic fire escape procedures, and the proper use of fire extinguishers. Additionally, the volunteers were guided to familiarize themselves with the location of the emergency assembly point, their designated positions, and the emergency evacuation routes in advance.

At 10:00 AM on November 14, the Emergency Command Center initiated the emergency evacuation drill. Wison Center activated the fire alarm system, with alarms gradually sounding on each floor. Elevators were brought down to the ground floor, and the building's fire curtains were successfully deployed. Meanwhile, volunteer firefighters on each floor guided personnel in their respective areas to evacuate in an orderly fashion. The alert group, evacuation group, and rescue group coordinated the evacuation efficiently, maintaining order and successfully completing the drill. The shortest evacuation time recorded during this exercise was 6 minutes, marking the best evacuation speed and organization in recent years. A total of 86 units and departments participated, with 3,237 individuals present. The drill was a resounding success.

Life is critical, and safety takes precedence above all. This drill not only heightened staff awareness of the critical importance of fire safety but also served as a comprehensive assessment of the fire management practices at Wison Center. We are committed to further enhancing our emergency response plans, continuously improving fire safety management, and fostering a safer, healthier, and more enjoyable working environment for all employees.
