The implementation of safety responsibilities is the core of corporate safety management. In accordance with the resolution of the Company’s Safety Committee, the QHSE Department revised the Safety Responsibility System and its promotional handbook in the first quarter and organized a series of promotion activities. These efforts aim to deeply instill safety responsibilities into the minds of employees and integrate them into daily work practices.
Promotion Activities at Ongoing Projects
On March 5, the Yangmei Qilu Yihua Project took the lead in launching the "Safety Responsibility System" promotion campaign to enhance safety awareness among all staff. Subsequently, projects such as Saudi FARABI, Saudi DPCU, Qatar EPC-4, and Guangxi Huayi MTO also organized similar activities. Through specialized training and signature campaigns, these initiatives clarified responsibility requirements, analyzed practical pathways, and reinforced accountability, collectively bolstering on-site safety management.
Promotion Activities in Functional Departments
Functional departments responded in tandem, with each department conducting learning sessions on the "Safety Responsibility System." Notably, on March 11 and March 20, Li Guirong, Manager of Project HSE Management, delivered impactful presentations on the "Safety Responsibility System in Engineering Design" to the Zhengzhou Branch and Engineering Design Center. By dissecting case studies, Manager Li emphasized the safety duties of design personnel, urging them to understand their responsibilities, conduct thorough safety design reviews, and improve their safety-related design skills.
Notable Achievements and Firm Safety Commitments
Until now, 27 departments, 11 design/EPC projects, and the Zhengzhou and Beijing branches have completed the promotion and commitment-signing activities for the Safety Responsibility System. A total of 1,629 handbooks have been distributed, and 1,477 signed commitment letters collected. These figures not only reflect the tangible outcomes of the campaign but also demonstrate the company’s steadfast commitment to safety production.
This company-wide promotion campaign, spanning all departments and projects both domestically and internationally, marks a new phase in the company’s safety management—one characterized by "full participation, full-process control, and comprehensive coverage". It lays a solid foundation for building an intrinsically safe enterprise with international competitiveness.
