Wison Engineering Shares Five Green Innovation Priorities at Industry Conference
2025-04-11

On April 10, 2025, the 2025 Annual Meeting of China Chemical Engineering Construction Enterprises Association and the Exchange Meeting on the Opportunities of "Two New" Policy and the New Development of Chemical Engineering Construction were grandly held in Chengdu. This conference is themed "Opportunities for Equipment Updating and Development towards Innovation". Relevant leaders from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and the China Chemical Engineering Construction Enterprises Association, as well as 150 leaders and representatives from member units, have gathered together. They focused on new-quality productivity and conducted in-depth exchanges around core topics such as scientific and technological innovation driving industry transition and high-quality development, the application of artificial intelligence technology, green transition, and digital innovation.

Li Yansheng, Chief Engineer of Wison Engineering, attended the conference and delivered a keynote speech titled "Driven by Innovation, Accelerating Green Transition and Development", sharing Wison's innovative achievements and practical experience in the green transition.

1. Green Technology Development: Dual-Drive of Independent Innovation and Collaborative Cooperation
In green technology research and development, Wison Engineering adopts a dual-drive model of "independent innovation & collaborative cooperation". Wison Engineering has cooperated with several well-known universities and scientific research institutions, and actively promoted innovative research on traditional processes and new materials. The developed green process technologies, such as ODHE (Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Ethane to Ethylene), SNG (Synthesis Gas to Natural Gas), Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Butene to Butadiene, and the two-step process of C4 to MMA, have achieved remarkable results in energy conservation and carbon reduction, providing practical and reliable technical support for the industry to achieve the "dual carbon" goal.

2. New Energy Transition: Layout of Diverse Low-Carbon Technology Paths
In terms of the layout for the new energy transition, Wison Engineering has given full play to its technical accumulation in the energy and chemical industry. Focusing on three major technical directions, namely diversified electric energy conversion, carbon capture & utilization, and biomass conversion, it has made every effort to create four core products, namely green hydrogen, green ammonia, green alcohol, and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). It has formed the technical service capability covering the whole chain from technology research and development, and engineering transition to industrial implementation, which has effectively promoted the sustainable development of the energy and chemical industry.

3. Modular Delivery: Creating New Competitive Advantages in Energy and Chemical Engineering
Modular delivery is one of the core competitiveness of Wison Engineering. Wison Engineering can provide integrated services of modular design, manufacturing, and delivery, forming an integrated, digital, and benchmarked modular solution. This model not only realizes the controllable management of costs, construction periods, and risks, but also breaks through the limitations of regional resources. Wison Engineering is constantly enhancing the competitive advantages of Chinese engineering technology in the global energy and chemical field and creating excellent economic benefits for customers.

4. Digital Empowerment: Intelligent Upgrades of Engineering Efficiency and Quality Management
Digitalization is a key driving factor for green transition. By building an integrated design data platform, Wison Engineering can provide world-class intelligent applications such as the design, construction, and operation optimization of intelligent digital factories for global customers. Since 2013, Wison Engineering has taken the lead in carrying out digital design practices. It has now completed the digital delivery of several large-scale petrochemical engineering projects, setting a demonstration example for the digital transition of the industry.

5. Carbon Management at the Organizational Level: Establishing a Carbon Inventory System across the Entire Value Chain
In the field of carbon management, Wison Engineering has established a carbon inventory system covering the entire value chain. It has become the first petrochemical engineering enterprise in China to fully disclose Scope 3 emissions and has obtained the ISO 14064-1:2018 Greenhouse Gas Verification Statement issued by SGS. This has injected new impetus into the green transition of the energy engineering industry and set a benchmark demonstration role.

Li Yansheng, Chief Engineer of Wison Engineering, said, "Against the backdrop of the global green and low-carbon transition, technological innovation is the key engine driving industry change. Wison Engineering has always been committed to the mission of "Better Technology, Better Future". By researching and applying a full-chain low-carbon technology system that covers source carbon reduction, process carbon reduction, and end-of-pipe carbon sequestration, it provides more exemplary green solutions for the energy and chemical industry, and helps the entire industrial chain move towards sustainable and high-quality development." The attending leaders and industry experts highly recognized Wison Engineering's explorations and practices in the fields of green process innovation, new energy strategic layout, digital and modular empowerment, and carbon management, believing that its successful experiences provide valuable references for the industry's transition and upgrading.
