June 2025 marks the 24th National Safety Month in China. Wison Engineering organized a series of themed activities at its headquarters and project sites, centered on the national slogan “Everyone Focuses on Safety, Everyone is Aware of Emergency Response- Identify Hazards in Your Surroundings” and the company’s theme “Safety Responsibilities Assigned to Positions, Hazards Identified and Rectified Thoroughly”. These initiatives demonstrated strong leadership in safety management, further advancing the company's safety practices and strengthening its corporate safety culture.
Headquarters Kick-off Ceremony for “Safety Month” Activities
On June 3, Wison Engineering CEO Mr. Zhou Hongliang kicked off the "Safe Month" campaign of Wison. In his keynote address, Mr. Zhou outlined three crucial directives: First, to instill organization-wide safety consciousness by embedding the "Safety First" principle into daily operations. Second, to enhance hazard identification through initiatives like the “Safety Snapshot” campaign. Third, to foster a robust safety culture through leadership demonstration and full employee engagement. "Safety represents our corporate integrity, safeguards family well-being, and fulfills social responsibility", Mr. Zhou emphasized, calling on all staff to strengthen safety defenses and support the company's premium-quality development.
Following the mobilization speech, Mr. Zhou led all attendees in signing the thematic poster, demonstrating the leadership’s solemn commitment to safety management.
Following the safety pledge signing, the QHSE Department organized an innovative “Learn Safety through Carnival” event, creatively integrating safety knowledge into traditional Chinese games such as pitch-pot (Touhu), lacquer fan painting, and hopscotch. Participants learned about hazard identification and key safety concepts through interactive and engaging activities. The novel format received overwhelmingly positive feedback, attracting nearly 450 participants within just one hour.
Saudi Arabia DPCU Project Launches Safety Month Activities
On June 1, the DPCU Project in Saudi Arabia launched its Safety Month campaign, coinciding with the project's final push toward construction milestones. The kick-off ceremony attracted over 2,000 participants, including Chinese and international personnel. Notably, the project team invited Aramco representatives to witness Wison's safety culture firsthand, while reinforcing safety commitment to all international staff.
Guangxi Huayi MTO Project Launches Safety Month Activities
On June 3, the Guangxi Huayi MTO Project officially launched its Safety Month with a kick-off ceremony. Mr. Xu Yutao, Project Manager of Huayi MTO Project Management Department of Wison Engineering, delivered an inspiring keynote address emphasizing critical safety requirements. He underscored that the project is currently at the peak construction phase, which represents a crucial period for safety management. All personnel must prioritize safety as their fundamental duty. Proactive hazard identification and correction are essential, and maintaining a safe work environment is vital for project success.
In the coming month, Wison Engineering will launch a series of diverse Safety Month activities, including the “Safety Snapshot” (hazard reporting campaign) and the HSE Promotional Video Contest. These programs are designed to cultivate a robust safety culture, enhance organization-wide safety awareness, and drive active employee participation in safety management.
