Fostering talent through collaborative efforts, Wison Engineering and the International College of East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) have achieved new milestones in their strategic partnership. On the morning of September 18, Lv Jianning, Vice President of Wison Engineering and General Manager of the Product Technology Center, was invited to attend the opening ceremony for the 2025 international freshmen of ECUST and the corporate mentor appointment ceremony. Together with over 600 new students from China and 76 countries worldwide, they embarked on a new chapter of academic and personal development.
Wison Engineering and ECUST have maintained a long-term and in-depth collaboration in various areas, including technological research and development, as well as the integration of industry and education. This invitation further reflects their shared commitment and cooperation in cultivating young international talent. International students serve as both pioneers in diversifying academic perspectives and responding to global trends, and as key drivers for enterprises seeking technological innovation and international market expansion. During the ceremony, Zhu Weihong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Vice President of ECUST, presented Lv Jianning with the corporate mentor appointment letter, marking a new phase in their talent development collaboration. Moving forward, the two parties will further promote internship and practical opportunities for international students, creating a more comprehensive cooperative platform.
After the event, CAS Academician Zhu Weihong led a tour of the Feringa Nobel Prize Scientist Joint Research Center, demonstrating the university’s determination to explore cutting-edge technological fields. Lv Jianning also expressed his appreciation for ECUST’s scientific research and development capabilities. It is believed that, in the future, Wison Engineering and ECUST will join hands to achieve even more globally impactful results.
